1.Atthirapilly falls-Niagara of Kerala falls

It is the largest waterfall in Kerala. This extremely beautiful waterfall is 47 km from Thrissur and originates from the Western Ghat. It fringes down from Sholayar forests finally  joins the Chalakudi river. Water plungs down from 25m height,forming a width of 100m. It is vision treat to eyes. It is one of top 10 waterfalls of India.Recently people calling as Bahubali water falls.

2.Meennmutty waterfalls

It is the second largest Kerala falls. It is 29km from Kalpetta of south Wayanad forest division. One needs to trek 2km to reach 984ft height three tiered falls. It is in Mepadi forest almost the Kerala Tamilnadu border.

Visit Soochipara waterfalls at Vellarimala.Kanthanpara waterfalls 20km from Kalpetta.

3.Soochipara waterfalls

It is in vallarimala of Waynad.It cascades in three steps forming beautiful waterfalls of 200m height.It is also called as Sentinel rock falls.Locally this waterfalls means Soochi-needle&para-rock.As it is 200m rocky area one can try Rock climbing.The way to this falls is beautiful with tea estates of waynad.

4.Palaruvi waterfalls

Located in the Kollam district of Kerala.With 91m height it is one of highest Kerala waterfalls.Palaruvi-means”misty milky stream”which attracts mostly nature admirers.Trekking through dense forests to reach the waterfall is definitely memorable.

5.Thusharagiri falls

This Kerala falls is 50 km from Calicut,Kozhikode district.The name Thusharagiri means snowy peak.The snow spraying down is visible with 5km trek uphill.There are 3 main falls 1.Erattumukku waterfalls2.Mazhavil Chattam is 500mts from first falls3.Thumbithullumpara waterfalls is 1 km away.Thanni Grandma is special attraction.


6.Adyanpara waterfalls

In Nilambur,Malappuram district Adyanpara waterfalls are located.Chatter of migratory birds,delightful nature &splashing water in wide area makes you to love this place.Surprising fresh&clear water with medicinal values attracts nature lovers.

7.Cheeyappara waterfalls

Cheeyappara waterfalls lie on the Kochi­ Madurai highway in Idukki district. It is 40 km away from Munnar. This water cascades down in seven steps, with 60ft height. This picturesque spot is also famous due to trekking. Best part of this falls is awesome road side view.

8.Thovanam waterfalls

It is located in chinnar wildlife sanctuary,nearest to Alampetty forest station. We need to trek down 3 hours to reach falls,one could see elephants in amidst the jungle. If you want to camp overnight, forest department log houses are near this falls.

9.Kumbhavurutty waterfalls

It is near Achankoil to Coutrallam of Kollam district.This spectacular waterfall is of 40ft height in Konni forest area.It forms a 4 ft depth pool below the falls.

10.Marmala water falls

It is in a private estate of Erattupetta,Kottayam district. 7km from Teekoy rubber estates. To reach waterfalls we need to trek through the estate. While coming from 60m height it forms a pool before it.

In conclusion two more falls are to specify since they are popular tourist attractions.

Perunthenaruvi waterfalls-36 km from panthanamthitta,central travencore region. Meaning of waterfall is great honey stream. In monsoon season fall&dam becomes picnic spots.

Meenmutty waterfalls-45km. from Thiruvananthapuram,central Travencore region.Located in Neyyar reservoir.
