Tirumala Lord Venkateswara temple Top places are in Venkadadri hills where Lord Venkateswara resides. Sri Ramanujacharya named Tirumala as Kaliyuga Vaikuntam. It is said that he is incarnation of Adisesha. The seven hills are compared as seven heads of serpent Adisesha. On these seven hills Lord Srinivasa resides. Saptagiri represents Sapta Rishi(sages). These 7 hills are Vrushabadri, Anjanadri, Neeladri, Garudadri, Sheshadri, Narayanadri, Venkatadri.

First visit Aadi Varaha Swamy temple before Lord Venkateswara darshan

According to Tirumala Sthala purana Aadi Varaha Swamy has given place to Lord Balaji on Tirumala. And Lord gave a word to Aadi Varaha swamy that always his devotees visit him first. Pilgrims who don’t visit Aadi Varaha swamy first don’t get credit of Lord Venkateswara darshan. Hence then pilgrims visit Aadi Varaha swamy temple first then visits Lord Srinivasa. 1.Swamy Pushkarini – Holy water tank to bath.

2.Aadi Varaha Swamy temple – adjacent to pushkarini.

3.Bedi Anjaneya swamy temple – near Nadaneerajanam stage. Hanuman is Kshetrapalaka in Tirumala.

 Devotees perform Three pradakshina in Tirumaada streets & enters into queue lines. These lead to Galigopuram(50 ft outer tower). They enter into sanctum through Maha Dwaram. There water through pipes cleans their feet. As they walk to their left is Ranganayaka mandapam & right is Addala mandapam AKA Aina mahal. It is a hall of mirrors that reflects images in an infinite series. They can see Dhvajasthabham very closely. It is one of five places that Lord resides in a temple.

5. Golden Gopura – Tirumala Lord Venkateswara temple Top places

Devotees pass through Vendi vakili – a silver entrance into the main sanctum. In this second compound visits Golden Gopura. They passes through the golden entrance, visits Dasavataras at ceiling. Finally saying Govinda they reach Jaya &Vijaya (Dwarapalaka) statues. Most of pilgrims walk upto here and do darshan.

6.Tirumala Lord Venkateswara temple Top places                                                   

Crossing three doors devotees walk in a series of dark halls leads the way to inner sanctum- Garbha Gruha and have a darshan of Lord Venkateswara for glimpse.Here each chamber narrowing in width symbolizes the soul’s journey into the womb of the divine. That’s why the main deity residing place is called as Garbha Gruha(womb like chamber). To maintain the supreme energy of  main deity ,it is protected from natural elements like sunlight,wind,rain&only priests enter the sanctum sanctorum.

7.Subshrine Vakula matha idol – Next in the temple complex pilgrims Pass beside holy tank and visits Vakula matha-Lord Balaji’s mother who is supervising her son’s Prasadas cooking hall.

8.At Alwar’s subshrine pilgrims take thirtha, shatagopam and Pilgrims walks to back side of Garbha Ghuha .

9.Vimana Venkateswara swamy

Right side to Garbha Griha devotees point Vimana Venkateswara swamy image on top of golden Gopura. Once for devotee Lord has given Darshan in this form.

10.Srivari Hundi – Devotees observe Srinivasa kalyana images on the walls of temple. And reaches to chaturveda mandapa, parimala ara and Srivari Hundi. They stand in a queue & drops rewards(AKA Mudupu) with happiness for solving their problems. Every devotee takes Laddu prasadam distributed by T.T.D. & they are thankful to Lord Srinivasa.

    Very nice post , I also visited here but not like you in detail.We are there for 3 days but forgot all things thanks for remembering me all these things.
